We play one-artist tribute sets to Chris Cornell, Alice In Chains, and mixed sets of 90s grunge and alternative

Black Days started in 2018 as a one-off tribute for a memorial show for Chris Cornell called Birth Ritual, raising money in his honor for HAAM. We threw ourselves into a full set of Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog…and walked offstage knowing there was no way this was staying a “one night only” thing.

Since then, we've grown into a full-on ’90s grunge and alternative force, playing stages across Central Texas. Our guitarists chase the details and play those solos and riffs note-for-note to the records, the rhythm section hits hard and heavy, and the vocals actually capture the power and range of Layne and Chris. We play this music faithfully because we love it and grew up on it.

We still honor our roots with all–Chris Cornell sets a few times a year, and we’ve added full Alice in Chains shows plus mixed sets with the Seattle grunge greats and darker ’90s favorites. Turn it up and come get loud with us!
